Together, we serve as points of contact for patients and their families. Be a true partner with our care team for infants and neonates. Under the direct supervision of the Manager of Newborn Screening Programs, you will perform auditory screening of newborns, ensuring that these services are consistent with the philosophy, goals and standards of quality of the American Speech and Hearing Association, as well as the NYS DOH Newborn Hearing Screening Regulations. Duties include performing newborn infant hearing screenings using Otoacoustic Emissions and Auditory Brainstem response equipment, documenting screening results into patient chart using the hospital based electronic medical record, and communicating directly and sharing complete information with families in order to have them effectively participate in care and decision making. This is a full -time, day shift position located at New-York Presbyterian/Weill Cornell Medical Center. Hours can be flexible with start time and will include rotating weekends and holidays.
