Infant and Toddler Teacher
About The Position
VIP’s Roots Early Education Center is looking for passionate, energetic, and nurturing Child Care Teachers to join our team and make a real difference in the lives of our littlest explorers. The role involves creating a safe "home away from home" environment where children can build social skills, practical capabilities, and self-esteem. Teachers will lead hands-on activities that spark curiosity and encourage learning and development, such as finger painting, music, and science experiments. They will also serve as a point of contact for parents, providing peace of mind and daily updates, and navigating the daily experiences of young children with grace.
Requirements
- Genuine love for early childhood education
- Master at multitasking (and snack-dispensing)
- Dependable, kind, and ready to get a little messy
- CPR Certified
- Background check-ready
- Enjoy professional development
- Love to work in a positive team environment
Responsibilities
- Create a safe “home away from home” environment where kiddos can build their social skills, practical capabilities and self-esteem
- Lend hands-on activities that spark curiosity and encourage children's learning and development (think: finger painting, music, and science experiments)
- Be a hero to parents by providing peace of mind and daily updates
- Navigate the highs (first words) and the lows (spilled milk) with grace and a smile
