About The Position

Assist in producing concrete products from subassemblies and raw materials. Work includes cleaning and oiling forms, setting up reinforcing and forms, pouring and finishing concrete, repairing products that do not meet design specifications, and cleaning the work area. Employees must follow the defined work plan and all safety and quality rules and processes. First- and third-shift positions are available.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED, or one to three months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Ability to follow defined work plans and job details.

Nice To Haves

A license to operate a concrete delivery truck may be needed.

Responsibilities

Follow the work procedures and details defined in the work plan for the work center and each worker.
Clean forms with tools to remove concrete buildup before the next pour.
Apply form oil to cleaned surfaces using an oil sprayer before pouring.
Grease pins and movable parts before pouring.
Make minor adjustments to forming equipment for proper operation.
Set up, tie, and space reinforcing for standard products according to reinforcing details.
Pour, vibrate, shovel, and finish concrete for standard products.
Repair and patch concrete products that do not meet design specifications.
Clean concrete spills and other trash from the work area.
Follow safety and quality rules and processes to help ensure a safe workplace and high-quality products.
