Requirements

• 5+ years of experience selling technically engineered, specified, or considered-purchase products into industrial, infrastructure, utility, municipal, or critical-facilities markets (e.g., water/wastewater, industrial automation and controls, transportation/traffic/ITS/rail, power and energy, building infrastructure, or a related specified-equipment category).
• Proven ability to build relationships with specifying engineers, integrators, EPCs, OEMs, or municipal/DOT buyers.
• A track record of achieving design wins, spec-in selling, or long-cycle industrial/infrastructure sales.
• Sufficient technical fluency to engage in credible conversations about power protection/critical infrastructure with engineers, or a demonstrated ability to quickly learn technical products.
• Comfort and proficiency in using AI account-intelligence and signal tooling as a daily force multiplier.

Nice To Haves

• 7+ years of experience and existing, activatable relationships within one of Falcon's priority verticals: water/wastewater SCADA, industrial automation/UL 508A controls, or transportation/traffic/ITS/rail.
• Familiarity with the vertical's control ecosystem (SCADA/RTU, PLC/HMI, or ITS controllers).
• Understanding of how UPS and backup power integrate into critical-infrastructure design.
• Experience selling into multiple industrial or infrastructure verticals, or transitioning between them.

Responsibilities

• Own the account universe, specifying engineers, and design-win pipeline for an assigned industry (water/wastewater SCADA, industrial automation, or transportation/traffic/ITS/rail).
• Secure spec-in positions by getting Falcon designed into projects, plant standards, cabinet specifications, and control-panel BOMs.
• Develop and win named accounts in the assigned vertical through long-cycle, technically credible selling.
• Collaborate with engineering and marketing to define and develop packaged solutions (vertical solution kits) for the assigned industry.
• Act as the voice of the customer by feeding vertical requirements, competitive intelligence, and lost-deal insights back to product and engineering teams.
• Own and manage the vertical's scoreboard, focusing on spec-in positions and qualified design-win pipeline.
