About The Position

The Industrialization Project Manager will be responsible for planning and executing projects related to tooling and equipment. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, managing procurement and vendor relationships, overseeing installation and commissioning, and ensuring projects stay within budget and schedule. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in manufacturing environments and expertise in managing industrial equipment projects.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of project management experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
  • Proven expertise in tooling and industrial equipment procurement and installation.
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and equipment specifications.
  • Excellent negotiation and vendor management skills.
  • Proficiency in project management tools (MS Project, SAP, or similar).
  • Strong communication and leadership abilities.

Nice To Haves

  • PMP or equivalent project management certification.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets for tooling and equipment projects.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, maintenance, and suppliers.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
  • Source and evaluate suppliers for tooling and industrial equipment.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery terms to ensure cost-effective procurement.
  • Manage vendor relationships and oversee compliance with specifications and quality standards.
  • Oversee installation, testing, and commissioning of industrial equipment and tooling.
  • Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulatory requirements during installation.
  • Validate equipment performance and handover to operations.
  • Track project costs and ensure adherence to approved budgets.
  • Prepare regular status reports for stakeholders and management.
  • Drive continuous improvement in project execution and cost efficiency.
