Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in Engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and product
  • 5+ years of experience in manufacturing and/or operations
  • Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
  • Ability to interact and communicate with all levels of leadership and across organizations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead cross functional teams to meet program deliverables and launch programs on time.
  • Manage all elements of the new program governance process including senior executive reviews. Responsibilities include scheduling, facilitating, reporting, and managing all elements of the process.
  • Create, maintain, and report program status reports (i.e. program scorecard, CCAR's, equipment readiness).
  • Lead cross functional teams (i.e. Product Engineering, Finance, Purchasing) to identify root cause and resolve major program issues.
  • Manage change control process working with Operations, Product, and Quality teams.
  • Manage and report program timing, including publishing of standard detailed program timing reports and maintaining program schedules.
  • Ensure Process Engineering, Facilities, and Operations implement and signoff on layout level releases.
  • Develop and manage Production Validation (PV) test plan to support testing requirements for new programs.
  • Interface with IP partner to ensure program delivery.
  • Travel to equipment suppliers and other Ford offices as required.
  • Support plant operations team to deliver operating objectives (SQDCME).
  • Perform supervisory duties (objectives, partnership discussions, check-ins, performance reviews, travel requests, timecard approvals, compensation planning) for all personnel assigned.
  • Lead, mentor, coach, counsel, recognize and motivate employees, as necessary.
  • Assess employee competencies and support Individual Development Plans.
