About The Position

As an Electronic Assembly Manufacturing Engineering Manager, you will lead a team responsible for supporting the industrialization of new products within electronic assembly environments. You will drive new product introduction activities, oversee engineering resource management, and help improve time-to-market through effective execution, talent development, and organizational leadership. You will report to Jim Rondeau and have a hybrid work schedule.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 + years of experience managing engineering teams supporting industrialization and new product introduction activities in an electronic assembly environment.
  • Experience overseeing manufacturing engineering processes including product cost estimation, manufacturing design plans, tooling recommendations, and process requirements.
  • Experience leading global engineering organizations and executing strategies across multiple internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing engineering resource planning processes, tools, and workforce allocation.
  • Experience supporting prototype line execution, PCBA delivery, and manufacturing readiness activities.
  • Experience establishing organizational KPIs and driving process improvements that support improved time-to-market.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage a multi-functional engineering team focused on new product introduction of printed circuit board assemblies, process execution, and technology deployment across multiple projects.
  • Oversee and support core industrialization activities including Design for Excellence (DfX), product data readiness, prototype line execution, and product cost estimation.
  • Establish organizational goals and KPIs to measure, monitor, and improve team effectiveness and business performance.
  • Manage engineering resources by assigning and allocating work based on project priorities, schedules, skill development objectives, and time-to-market requirements.
  • Drive technical and leadership development within the engineering organization while ensuring accountability for program and production success.
