About The Position

As an Industrialization Engineer – Accellix, you will play a key role in transferring new products and processes into manufacturing while ensuring scalable, reliable, and compliant production methods. This position partners closely with Manufacturing, Quality Control, R&D, and cross-functional teams to optimize processes, support product launches, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, Industrial, Biomedical, or related field).
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing engineering, industrialization, process development, or a related area.
  • Experience working in a regulated manufacturing environment (GMP/cGMP preferred).
  • Knowledge of process validation, process controls, and continuous improvement methodologies.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
  • Strong technical aptitude and data-driven decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work effectively across cross-functional and global teams.
  • Demonstrated commitment to quality, compliance, and continuous improvement.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.

Nice To Haves

  • Master's degree in Engineering or a related discipline.
  • Experience within biotechnology, diagnostics, medical device, or life sciences industries.
  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification.
  • Experience with FMEA, risk management, and statistical process control (SPC).
  • Knowledge of reagent formulation, assay development, or consumable manufacturing processes.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the transfer of new products and manufacturing processes into production environments.
  • Develop, validate, and optimize manufacturing processes for reagent formulation and consumable production.
  • Design and implement process controls to reduce variability and improve product quality.
  • Support equipment qualification and process validation activities, including IQ/OQ/PQ protocols.
  • Analyze manufacturing performance data and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  • Investigate and resolve production issues to ensure reliable product supply.
  • Collaborate with Quality Control to ensure manufacturing outputs meet assay and performance requirements.
  • Integrate risk management principles and quality requirements into process design and execution.
  • Serve as a technical resource for manufacturing teams and support supplier-related technical activities.
  • Develop and maintain manufacturing documentation, work instructions, and regulatory-compliant records.
  • Partner with global teams to support technology transfer, process harmonization, and continuous improvement efforts.
