About The Position

We are seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Industrial Yard Technician to support daily operations in a heavy industrial environment. This hands-on role involves operating equipment, handling materials, power washing products and equipment, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and organized work area. The ideal candidate will be comfortable working outdoors, operating a forklift, reading measurements accurately, and following written instructions in a fast-paced industrial setting.

Requirements

• Previous industrial, manufacturing, warehouse, or equipment operation experience is preferred.
• Forklift operating experience is required.
• Ability to accurately read and use a tape measure.
• Strong reading comprehension and ability to follow written instructions.
• Ability to work safely in a heavy industrial environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
• Dependable attendance and strong work ethic are required.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to lift, carry, and move materials as needed.
• Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Perform power washing and cleaning of equipment, materials, and work areas.
• Load, unload, move, and stage materials as needed.
• Read and interpret work instructions, measurements, and production requirements.
• Accurately use a tape measure to verify dimensions and specifications.
• Inspect materials and products for quality and compliance with requirements.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Follow all company safety procedures and operational guidelines.
• Assist with general labor and production support duties as assigned.
• Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members regarding work progress and safety concerns.
