About The Position

As the Pursuit Manager, you will be responsible for the management (preparation, assembly, review, and submittal) of responses to Request for Proposals (RFP). You will be assigned proposals that may range from small to medium scope and generally have low to medium risk profiles. Typically, this pursuit manager has a primary solution they focus on to build the needed competencies for advancement. This professional interfaces directly with and provides support to the sales manager, the project director, and the project manager to set the proposal execution strategy/schedule, assemble proposal response team, and develop the project execution plan and value proposition/win strategies. You will ensure conceptual design and business enablement functional teams (estimating, project controls, construction, procurement, subcontracts, LIFTT) are held accountable to provide deliverables in accordance with the proposal development schedule. You will also monitor and manage pursuit team expenditures to align with approved budgets, participate in cost reviews, and facilitate risk determination/mitigation and leadership approval discussions. You will assist in negotiations as requested and facilitate discussion and actions to transition proposal basis information to the project execution team upon contract signature.

Requirements

Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
3+ years of engineering, project execution or technical pursuit management experience
