About The Position

We are looking for a hands-on Industrial Valve Field Service Technician to join an experienced service team supporting oil & gas and industrial customers. This role combines shop-based repair work with field service, equipment maintenance, testing, and troubleshooting. The ideal candidate has strong mechanical skills, enjoys hands-on work, and is comfortable traveling to customer locations when needed.

Requirements

  • Hands-on mechanical repair or maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting ability
  • Comfortable working with hand and power tools
  • Able to understand technical drawings and equipment documentation
  • Good problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
  • Dependable and able to work independently
  • Comfortable working in both shop and industrial field environments
  • Willing to travel for customer service assignments
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
  • Must have or be able to obtain a TWIC card
  • Must be eligible to participate in the DISA Random Testing Program (RTP)
  • Willingness to travel up to 50%, including occasional overnight trips
  • Ability to work safely at industrial customer locations
  • Overtime availability as needed

Responsibilities

  • Service, repair, and rebuild industrial valves, actuators, and related equipment
  • Disassemble equipment and inspect components for damage, wear, corrosion, and other issues
  • Identify mechanical problems and determine appropriate repair solutions
  • Conduct pressure, leak, and operational testing following established procedures
  • Perform repairs and troubleshooting both in the shop and at customer facilities
  • Assist with equipment installation, commissioning, start-up, and maintenance projects
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and mechanical testing equipment
  • Read technical drawings, equipment specifications, and service documentation
  • Complete service paperwork and document inspections, repairs, and test results
  • Follow customer requirements and company safety and quality procedures
