About The Position

Mid States Materials LLC. is seeking to hire (4) Temporary Full Time Industrial Truck and Tractor Operators. This position involves operating industrial trucks or tractors equipped to move materials around a warehouse, storage yard, factory, construction site, or similar location. Daily travel to various job sites located in Shawnee, Douglas, Jefferson, Osage, Franklin, Lyon, Wabaunsee, Geary, Riley, Pottawatomie, Jackson, Atchison, Brown, Nemaha COUNTIES IN KS is required. The job requires the ability to lift and carry 50 pounds. Some overtime and weekends are required. The standard workday is 8 hours, with hours potentially varying within Mon-Fri, 7am-6pm. Optional employer-owned housing is available for $115.00 per week / $230.00 per pay period. Health, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability insurance are offered, with deductions depending on the plan selected. Paid holidays are provided. Workers are responsible for their own transportation to the designated pick-up location in Lecompton, KS. Transportation to and from worksites will be provided from Lecompton, KS. No experience or education is required. The position offers 40 hours per week, with overtime pay of $35.33/hr. Pay is computed on a single workweek basis and paid bi-weekly by check. All legally required payroll deductions will be taken. Merit-based raises are available at the employer's discretion. Onsite training and tools, supplies, and equipment are provided free of charge to perform the job.
