About The Position

Sunbelt Rentals is seeking a Technician 1 to perform preventive maintenance and repairs on equipment in the safest, most effective way possible to avoid downtime. The fleet varies by location but primarily includes Aerial Work Platforms, general construction tools and equipment. Specialty lines locations may have a fleet of large-scale power-generators, pumps, HVAC systems and oil/gas related equipment. This role offers the opportunity to build skills on a variety of equipment, develop new skills for a career track in service or operation management, and work with a team in a safety-focused environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED required.
1 to 3 years of Technician experience with diesel equipment, heavy construction equipment or specialty lines equipment (large-scale generators, pumps, HVAC or Oil & Gas equipment) strongly preferred.
Knowledge of hydraulic systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Knowledge of electrical systems and troubleshooting fundamentals.
Ability to be flexible with changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
May need to provide tools of trade.

Nice To Haves

Some trade school or equivalent training desired.
Bilingual (Spanish or Other) may be required based on location needs.
