About The Position
Colony Tire is currently seeking a full-time Industrial Tire Technician to join our team in Norfolk, VA! This position involves operating industrial tire equipment in our shop and operating a forklift in our warehouse. A full benefit package is offered.
Requirements
- High school or equivalency
- Valid driver’s license
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a tire press to install, remove, and service solid industrial tires (primarily forklift tires).
- Operate a forklift.
- Properly use hydraulic press equipment and hand tools to mount and dismount industrial tires on wheels and machines, ensuring correct fitment and safe operation.
- Adhere to all company safety policies, procedures, and OSHA regulations while using PPE and promoting a safe working environment for yourself and others.
- Engage in company-provided training to stay current on tire technologies, equipment use, and safety procedures.
