Ivy Tech Madison is seeking a Full Time Industrial Technology faculty member to prepare students for high-demand technical careers. This role involves delivering hands-on instruction, developing industry-relevant curriculum, and engaging students in applied learning experiences. The ideal candidate brings practical field expertise, a commitment to student success, and the ability to connect classroom learning with real-world workforce needs. This position will primarily support the Industrial Technology program by providing instruction to high school pathway students in subjects such as Electricity, Fluid Power, Mechanical Power, and Welding. Duties will also include instructing traditional students. The faculty will either have or seek to obtain professional certifications relative to the courses they teach such as SACA (Smart Automation Certification Alliance), OSHA-10 and AWS (American Welding Society). They will provide quality and engaging instruction in all delivery methods and formats within specific academic programs; provide timely and meaningful feedback to students regarding the mastery of course and program learning outcomes; engage students outside of class in support of the curriculum and co-curriculum; provide institutional support and community service; participate meaningfully in student retention and completion initiatives; support the College’s mission and strategic plan initiatives; conform to campus expectations of faculty performance and engagement.
