About The Position
The Industrial Security Technician is responsible for assisting the ISSM in keeping the company’s classified hardware, software, and network compliant and running smoothly by preforming regular system maintenance, audits, ensuring living documentation remains accurate and by providing end user support. Reports to the Information Systems Security Manager.
Requirements
- Proficiency in Windows OS administration, software installation and troubleshooting computer hardware
- Must be a U.S. Citizen with ability to obtain DoD Secret level clearance

- Security compliance and implementation in accordance with NIST 800-171, 800-53 or similar standard
Responsibilities
- Classified information system configuration and maintenance
- Software patching, Event log auditing, OS and Antivirus updates
- Establishes and revokes access for new and existing users.
- Monitor security posture for compliance with relevant STIG.
- Assist with or perform data transfer in accordance with established procedures.
- Document all actions performed on classified information systems and ensure information system documentation reflects the system configuration.
- Perform/oversee classified asset upgrade and downgrade procedures.
