We are seeking a Security Specialist who will provide support to the Security Department. You will need knowledge and experience with Personnel Security, VAR, CAC, and DD254 to be successful. This role requires the highest level of professionalism, strong interpersonal skills, exceptional written skills, analytical skills (policy and procedure interpretation and implementation), and exceptional attention to detail.

Requirements

• BS or BA degree
• Minimum of 1 year of direct Industrial Security experience
• Ability to work with a diverse team and key leaders to ensure compliance with security directives.
• Working knowledge of 32 CFR Part 117 NISPOM
• Must have an in-scope security clearance.

Nice To Haves

• SPēD Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC)
• OPSEC Level II Certification
• Completion of FSO Program Management for Possessing Facilities Course

Responsibilities

• Responsible for reviewing and maintaining access processes/procedures.
• Process VARs, VALs, CACs, Badges, Network Access, and 6-month CAC Reverifications.
• Provides special briefings (CNWDI, NATO, COMEC, etc.)
• Review incoming DD254s requirements to ensure compliance.
• Assist in managing personnel security clearances.
• Assist in the management of Field Print account and submission of fingerprints for new employees and for clearance upgrades.
• Maintains DISS, NBIS, and SWFT accounts.
• Help maintain security records for employees and consultants.
• Creates building badges for new employees.
