About The Position

RGNext employees execute and report on theater and strategic offensive and defensive ballistic missile testing and support space situational awareness operations and experiments, using a wide array of highly sophisticated radar, telemetry and optical sensors to meet the needs of the Department of Defense in defending the United States and its interests. Our team delivers invaluable defensive support to our nation, efficiency and essential national space awareness expertise to ensure our nation’s safety. This position is located in Dulles, VA and not eligible for telecommuting.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in security, technology, or management type field or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Two (2) or more years’ experience with security requirements and directives
  • Basic working knowledge of the NISPOM and other relevant DoD security guidance
  • Experience working with computer desktop packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, etc
  • Must possess the ability to obtain and maintain a US government issued Secret security clearance, which includes U.S. citizenship; willingness to obtain a US governemnt issuedTop Secret security clearance, if required
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills for resolving security challenges while adapting to changing priorities
  • Ability to communicate internally/externally in a professional manner
  • Strong organizational skills with specific emphasis on attention to detail
  • Ability to complete tasks independently or in a team environment

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of the Defense Information Security System (DISS) and Secure Web Fingerprint Transmission (SWFT) preferred
  • The flexibility to work occasional non-duty hours to support specific project or mission requirements

Responsibilities

  • Assist the Facility Security Officer (FSO) with ensuring program compliance with all corporate and government security requirements and directives
  • Maintain the personnel security program in accordance with the provisions and procedures of the National Industrial Security Program Operating Manual (NISPOM)
  • Administratively process personnel security clearances in accordance with Defense Counterintelligence and Security Agency (DCSA) requirements and maintain/update personnel security information
  • Process incoming and outgoing visit requests via the Defense Information Security System (DISS)
  • Ability to conduct initial security briefings, debriefings, indoctrinations, pre- / post-foreign travel briefings and refresher briefings, as appropriate
  • Ability to implement/manage industrial security processes/best practice standards
  • Aptitude to develop and establish an effective security awareness, training, and education program
  • Maintain a database to ensure employee information is accurate and current.
  • Assist with self-inspections and participate in government security reviews
  • Firm understanding of what constitutes personally identifiable information (PII) and / or company proprietary and safeguarding methods to prevent unauthorized access
  • Perform. other security related duties as assigned
