About The Position

The Industrial Security Specialist supports the implementation and administration of industrial, physical, personnel, and information security programs in support of government contracts. This role ensures compliance with federal security regulations, safeguards classified information, and assists with the execution of security policies, procedures, and facility protection requirements.

Requirements

  • Active TS/SCI security clearance.
  • Hands-on experience in one or more of the following security disciplines: Industrial Security, Physical Security, Information Security, Personnel Security, Technical Security, Derivative Classification, Operations Security (OPSEC), Communications or Signals Security (COMSEC/SIGSEC), Counterintelligence, Antiterrorism or Counterterrorism, Counter-Surveillance or Surveillance Detection, Infrastructure Protection, Force Protection, Technology Protection, Emergency Management, Continuity of Operations (COOP), Safety or Investigations Programs.
  • Experience using personnel security systems and clearance databases such as DISS, JVS, NBIS, Scattered Castles, JPAS/JCAVS, CVS, PIPS, and/or CATS.
  • Experience supporting programs governed by the National Industrial Security Program (NISP).
  • Experience preparing, reviewing, and interpreting Contract Security Classification Specifications (DD Form 254).
  • Working knowledge of national security, personnel suitability, and due process adjudication processes.
  • Knowledge of government security regulations, policies, and compliance requirements.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Relevant experience based on level: Junior: 2–3 years, Mid-Level: 3–5 years, Senior: 5+ years.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting the HSPD-12 (USAccess) program.
  • Previous experience serving as a Facility Security Officer (FSO).
  • Security Fundamentals Professional Certification (SFPC).
  • Industrial Security Professional (ISP) certification.
  • Associate's or Bachelor's degree in a related field.
