About The Position

The Boeing Company is looking for a highly experienced and detail-oriented Industrial Security Manager to join the team in San Antonio, TX. The senior manager will manage and ensure the flawless execution of classified security programs at the DoD Collateral level, Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI), Special Access Programs (SAP), and other restricted or proprietary levels and achieve all operational goals supporting the San Antonio facility.

Requirements

  • Successfully completed Tier 5 Investigation (T5), formerly known as a Single Scope Background Investigation (SSBI) by the federal government within the last 5 years, or requires candidate to have been enrolled in a Continuous Vetting program within the last 5 years
  • 5+ years of experience in Industrial Security
  • 5+ years of experience in personnel security administration, physical security, communications security and/or other programmatic security-related field
  • 5+ years of experience in leading teams and team development
  • Ability to obtain and maintain access to Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) and/or Special Access Programs (SAP)
  • Ability to travel 10% of the time
  • This position requires an active U.S. Top Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active)
  • To meet U.S. export control compliance requirements, a “U.S. Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.62 is required. “U.S. Person” includes U.S. Citizen, U.S. National, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work or military experience
  • 5+ years of security-related work experience working in one or a combination of the following domains: NISP, SAP, and/or SCI
  • 5+ years of Project Management experience
  • 5+ years of experience building relationships and partnering with all levels of employees, including executives in the Defense or Aerospace environment
  • 5+ years of experience communicating with internal and external customers

Responsibilities

  • Lead and mentor employees performing security administration activities to protect information from unauthorized disclosure, conducting security inquiries, overseeing compliance assessments implementation security controls protecting personnel, information and equipment
  • Study and implement federal security regulations that apply to company program operations
  • Obtain rulings, interpretations, and acceptable deviations for compliance with regulations from government agencies
  • Develop and maintain relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
  • Provide oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
  • Assist with team members' professional development and growth
