About The Position
Ready to suit up as a Cargill Industrial Security Guard. What matters most about a role like this is your sharp eye, capturing every detail as you scan a series of screens. Your strong observation skills with attention to detail are your greatest strengths. As a Cargill Industrial Security Guard, you will be the person spotting threats before they escalate in environments such as security operation centres, call centers, construction sites, parking lots and gatehouses, etc.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid Alberta security license
- Full class 5 Driver's License and reliable vehicle required
- Available to work 12 hour night shifts on a rotation
- Strong report writing skills
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
- Facilitate access to trailers and authorize trucks
- Trailer Safety checks and damage inspections
- Check the axel weight and issuing clearance certificate
- Monitor CCTV
- Coordinate response to incidents
- Exterior and interior patrols
- Controlling access points
