Your strong observation skills and attention to detail are your greatest strengths, allowing you to identify potential hazards, security concerns, and operational issues before they escalate. As an Industrial Security Guard, you will play a critical role in maintaining the safety and security of a heavy-duty industrial site, actively monitoring operations, conducting patrols, controlling site access, and responding to incidents in high-risk environments such as manufacturing facilities, processing plants, warehouses, equipment yards, and active industrial worksites.
Requirements
- Be authorized to work in Canada
- Hold a valid BC security license
- Strong report writing skills
- Good eyesight and excellent ability to maintain focus
- Strong proficiency with technology
- Ability to stand and walk throughout shift

Responsibilities
- Monitor security systems to detect any suspicious activity
- Respond quickly to incidents or potential threats
- Document observed events and incidents, writing detailed reports
- Conduct regular foot patrols to ensure the safety of the premises
- Control access to secure areas and check visitor identification
- Analyze security systems to identify potential vulnerabilities or malfunctions
- Work with law enforcement in case of serious situations or emergencies
