Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) is looking for an Industrial Security Analyst (Level 2) to join our team in Melbourne, Florida.

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree with 2 years of relevant security experience OR an additional 4 years of relevant security experience will be considered in-lieu of a degree
  • Your ability to transfer and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Secret Clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company
  • Your ability to obtain and maintain the final adjudicated U.S. government Top-Secret Clearance (must be in-scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access(es) required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company
  • Candidate must be a US Citizen
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Strong technical writing and briefing skills
  • Ability to work independently on multiple tasks and meet deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • Operational experience in Counterintelligence, Human Intelligence or Intelligence Analyst roles
  • Operational experience in Law Enforcement Investigations
  • Experience with Intrusion Detection Systems
  • Experience maintaining Automated Access Control Systems
  • Experience with DISS, SIMS, JADE, or similar data bases
  • Working knowledge of DoD, SAP, and SCI programs to provide procedural and policy guidance
  • Ability to work independently and follow projects through to completion
  • Ability to maintain flexibility to deal with changing priorities and deadlines
  • Strong working knowledge of basic office automation tool suites such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain methodologies to detect unusual behavior, identify suspicious trends and potential breaches
  • Conduct in-depth investigations when anomalies, behavior, trends or potential breaches are identified
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to assess risk, and determine mitigation strategies
  • Conduct focused and timely interviews to collect information of value
  • Prepare detailed reports and assessments from findings to senior management
  • Develop and present training and awareness briefings to workforce
  • Maintain accountability of classified material or classified media
  • Review and verify personnel security clearances and SAP access through queries to government security databases and systems
  • Maintain liaison with government agencies, external customers, contractors, employees, and managers
  • Implement policies and procedures for responding to security incidents, and for investigating and reporting security violations and incidents
