Our team is driven by excellence, integrity, and a passion for advancing aerospace technology. This is a full-time, on-site role for an Industrial Seamstress located in Ontario, CA. The Industrial Seamstress will be responsible for various day-to-day tasks including operating industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble various aerospace materials. The role also involves customer service, where interacting with clients and addressing their specific needs is paramount. The work environment is dynamic and requires a keen eye for detail and craftsmanship.

Requirements

  • Proven experience with industrial sewing machines.
  • Strong attention to detail and precision.
  • Ability to read and interpret work orders and blueprints.
  • Good customer service and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, on-site environment.
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Ability to work in office, lab, and manufacturing environments with occasional exposure to noise, dust, and temperature variations.
  • Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs and perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and manual assembly.
  • Visual acuity required for reading technical drawings, inspecting components, and operating precision instruments.
  • May require use of PPE such as safety glasses, gloves, and hearing protection, in accordance with Cal/OSHA safety standards.
  • Occasional travel to supplier or test sites, including outdoor or industrial settings, with adherence to company and OSHA safety protocols.
  • Must be a (i) US Citizen, (ii) lawful permanent resident of the U.S. (aka green card holder), (iii) protected individual as defined by U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3), or (iv) eligible to obtain the required authorizations from the U.S. Department of State.

Nice To Haves

  • Vocational training in sewing or related fields is an advantage.
  • Experience with aerospace materials.

Responsibilities

  • Operate industrial sewing machines to sew and assemble various aerospace materials.
  • Read and interpret work orders and blueprints to determine job specifications.
  • Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards and precision are met.
  • Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot sewing machine issues.
  • Interact with clients and address specific needs as part of customer service duties.
