About The Position
Balanced Body is seeking organized, detail-oriented individuals who enjoy working with fabric and sewing to join their Upholstery team as Seamstresses. This role contributes to the company's growth by ensuring materials are ready for assembly for customers. The company is described as energetic and environmentally sensitive, and is a world leader in providing Pilates equipment and education.
Requirements
- Working knowledge of safe sewing techniques and basic commercial sewing machine adjustment and use.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- Able to adapt to changing needs and priorities.
- Able to sit, stand, reach and carry as needed for a full shift (8-hours).
- Must be able to lift, carry up to a maximum of 20 lbs.
- Must be self-motivated and have a positive, solution-seeking attitude.
- Able to commit to a consistent work schedule with good attendance.
Nice To Haves
- Industrial-level experience preferred but willing to train a motivated individual.
