About The Position

Wonderbrands is seeking Full-Time Sanitation Team Members for their facility in Mississauga, ON. This role involves maintaining hygiene and meeting housekeeping standards through cleaning and sanitizing various areas and equipment. The position requires adherence to food safety and workplace protocols, collaboration with quality teams, and performing general production tasks. Requirements

• Previous experience in sanitation, food manufacturing, industrial setting or a similar environment is preferred
• Capability to perform physically demanding tasks, including standing, bending, lifting, and working in cold or wet environments.
• Ability to identify cleanliness issues and maintain high sanitation standards.
• Experience using cleaning equipment like pressure washers, vacuums, or foaming machines.
• Knowledge of handling and using cleaning chemicals safely, including understanding Safety Data Sheets (SDS).
• Ability to follow cleaning schedules and complete tasks efficiently.
• Commitment to adhering to workplace safety rules and food safety regulations.
• Familiarity with food safety standards such as GMPs, HACCP, and SSOPs
• Flexibility with time shifts, work on weekends, or overtime as required

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize walls, floors, doors, equipment, tools, and work areas to maintain hygiene and meet housekeeping standards.
• Inspect facilities, report cleanliness issues, and maintain accurate cleaning records.
• Safely handle cleaning chemicals, operate cleaning equipment, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Follow all food safety and workplace protocols, including GMPs, HACCP, LOTO, Safety, and SSOP procedures, to ensure compliance.
• Collaborate with quality teams to address sanitation-related concerns and participate in training to improve processes and skills.
• Perform general production tasks such as packing bread and rolls and other assigned duties.
