About The Position

This is a dedicated sanitation position with no production work involved. As a Sanitation Tech, you will play a critical role in ensuring production equipment and the facility are thoroughly cleaned, sanitized, and ready for the next day's operations, all while maintaining the highest food safety standards. This role is ideal for someone who is dependable, enjoys hands-on work, and takes pride in maintaining a clean and safe environment.

Nice To Haves

• Previous sanitation, manufacturing, janitorial, industrial cleaning, or food production experience.

Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize production equipment and processing areas.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for proper cleaning.
• Follow sanitation procedures and standard operating practices.
• Ensure compliance with USDA, HACCP, GMP, and company food safety standards.
• Safely handle sanitation chemicals and cleaning equipment.
• Wear and properly use all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
• Identify and report equipment or maintenance concerns.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
• Support food safety initiatives throughout the facility.
• Perform additional sanitation duties as assigned.
