About The Position
This role involves operating and monitoring industrial refrigeration systems, performing maintenance on associated equipment, troubleshooting issues, and contributing to maintenance planning and procedure development.
Requirements
- Journeyperson Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Mechanic
- 10+ years of industrial refrigeration experience
- Strong experience with ammonia-based systems
- Familiarity with PLC, SCADA, or DCS control systems
Nice To Haves
- Refrigeration Engineer certification
- Refrigeration Operator Class B or Class A Certificate of Qualification
- Ground freezing or mining experience
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor industrial refrigeration systems
- Perform preventative and corrective maintenance on compressors, piping, and related equipment
- Troubleshoot system issues and respond to alarms
- Support maintenance planning, inspections, and system reliability initiatives
- Contribute to the development of operating procedures and maintenance programs
