About The Position

Join Our Team as an Integrated Facility Management (IFM) Quality & Finishing Technician: We are looking for a skilled and motivated Quality & Finishing Technician to provide repair, cleaning, and preventative maintenance services for customer equipment at industrial and commercial facilities. This role is ideal for a hands-on technician with experience in industrial finishing, commercial HVAC systems, air quality, filtration, and equipment maintenance who enjoys troubleshooting problems, working directly with customers, and supporting high-quality service delivery.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 year of skilled trades or technical field service experience.
  • 1 year of experience in a focused application or product line.
  • 1 year of experience in at least two of the following areas: Industrial finishing or paint systems, Powder coating / finishing, Commercial HVAC, Industrial cleaning systems, Filtration and indoor air quality, Mold remediation or duct cleaning.
  • Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Experience disassembling, repairing, and reassembling equipment.
  • Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and electrical diagnostic equipment.
  • Ability to read and understand technical manuals, safety procedures, and service documentation.
  • Ability to travel up to 5%.
  • Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
  • Ability to operate a forklift and pallet jack.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams).
  • Ability to learn company service systems and maintain equipment records.
  • Must be able to work in environments that may include: Paint and solvent odors, Moving mechanical parts, Electrical equipment, Airborne particles or chemicals.

Nice To Haves

  • Mold and duct cleaning certifications preferred.
  • Ability to obtain certifications from primary vendors within 6 months (Graco, GEMA, Fanuc, Sames, CFT, etc.).

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair customer equipment in the field.
  • Perform preventative maintenance, cleaning, and servicing of industrial and commercial systems.
  • Lead industrial paint, finishing, filtration, HVAC, and indoor air quality maintenance projects.
  • Provide technical training and support for customers and technicians.
  • Respond to customer inquiries regarding equipment repairs and service needs.
  • Document service work and maintain accurate service reports in company systems.
  • Maintain and test service equipment and tools before and after use.
  • Assist with special projects and technical service initiatives.
  • Support product demonstrations and customer training both in the lab and in the field.
  • Participate in establishing service and maintenance contracts.
  • Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
