Your impact You’ll take on complete lifecycle work: break down large horizontal and vertical pumps, pinpoint issues, repair components, and reassemble to exacting standards. You’ll navigate schematics and blueprints to plan the job and construct foundations for both assembly and disassembly. Along the way, you’ll handle heavy moves via overhead cranes/forklifts and verify every dimension with micrometers, calipers, gauges, and other M&TE—because precision matters.

Requirements

7+ years as a pump mechanic or in rotating equipment overhaul.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Fluency with hand/power tools; overhead crane and forklift experience.
Ability to read and comprehend inspection tools; meticulous record‑keeping.
Strong written and verbal communication.
Manual dexterity and control precision; critical thinking and deductive reasoning.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild large pumps across multiple types/designs.
Interpret schematics/blueprints; determine procedures and construct assembly/disassembly foundations.
Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools.
Use M&TE to inspect parts and confirm tolerances.
Work to strict accuracy standards in a clean, safety‑minded shop.
Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to position components.
