Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
7+ years of hands-on experience as a pump mechanic or related rotating equipment role.
Competency with hand tools (wrenches, impact guns) and powered equipment.
Overhead crane and forklift operation experience.
Ability to read/understand inspection tools and documentation.
Strong verbal and written communication; manual dexterity and control precision.
Critical thinking and deductive reasoning skills; ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

Diagnose, disassemble, repair, and rebuild a variety of large pumps (horizontal and vertical).
Interpret blueprints/schematics and construct the necessary foundations or fixtures for assembly/disassembly.
Operate manual, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electric tools safely and effectively.
Measure with M&TE (micrometers, calipers, etc..) and other gauges to verify tolerances.
Work within precise limits and standards of accuracy.
Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move and position heavy components.
