Requirements

  • Must successfully complete and maintain the Lassonde Pappas Forklift Certification.
  • Ability to Read and Write
  • Work in a safe manner following all PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Performs daily, weekly, and monthly sanitation tasks (Master Cleaning Schedule)
  • Completion of end of production sanitation on all applicable lines
  • Follow all sanitation safety and food safety guidelines
  • Support Production CIPs (Frozen wash tunnel/capper CIP)
  • Complete all associated documents related to task per facility document requirements
  • Work with chemicals to complete cleaning
  • Assist in training of new hires (forms, procedures, daily tasks, building layout, etc..)
  • Take and record accurate chemical inventory weekly
  • Check and record chemical dilutions weekly
  • Operate PIT equipment
  • Operate Cleaning equipment
  • Environmental sampling (collection, shipping/plating, interpretation, and recording of results)
  • Direct efforts of Sanitation Technicians
  • Report issues or insufficiencies and inefficiencies to supervisor/manager
  • Report mechanical issues or sanitation equipment issues to supervisor/manager
  • Compile end of week email/ maintain communication with supervisory/management team (email/phone)
  • This role will be required to taste test products as needed, up to a couple of ounces per test.
