About The Position
Arcosa Shoring Products is seeking a 2nd shift Industrial Painter in its Union City, MI operations. The Painter will prepare, coat, and finish metal and/or other surfaces by operating conventional and airless spray equipment to apply industrial paint finishes. Arcosa Shoring Products manufactures trench shoring equipment for the construction industry, focusing on high-quality trench shields and shoring products.
Requirements
- Minimum of 1 year of industrial experience
- Knowledge and ability to operate all equipment in that area
- Ability to perform all essential functions safety and efficiently
- Regular and predictable attendance
Responsibilities
- Prepare materials, surfaces and structures for coverage with paint, laminate rubber or other material
- Operate conventional and airless equipment to apply industrial paint finishes on metal and other types of surfaces
- Mix and apply alkyds, epoxies, gel coats, powder coats, urethane, zinc epoxies and water borne paint systems according to a prescribed formula
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Follow all safety rules and practices
