About The Position

As an Industrial Painter, you will play a critical role in the use of applying spray equipment onto completed parts. Attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols are essential to maintain a safe work environment and produce high-quality results. The Industrial Painter will prepare product surfaces for painting, as well as, paint products using either spray equipment or using the dip line.

Requirements

  • Experience with spray painting equipment.
  • Ability to drive a fork lift.
  • Ability to work with a team and communicate effectively in a manufacturing setting.
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills.
  • High School Diploma

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in industrial or steel painting within a manufacturing environment.
  • Manual dexterity and physical strength to perform repetitive tasks and handle painting tools.
  • Previous experience with industrial painting in a factory environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Follow supervisors’ direction on priority of parts needing to be painted.
  • Prepare surfaces by using the bonderizer to clean off oils/debris from parts.
  • Paint various parts using spray booth equipment and/or loading parts on the paint dip line.
  • Work with team members to maintain productivity throughout the shift
  • Wear proper safety equipment during the painting process.
  • Maintain painting equipment with regular cleaning and proper storage
  • Keep work areas free and clear of debris or hazardous materials.
