About The Position
The Industrial Painter uses a variety of equipment and materials to prepare surfaces and apply paint in accordance with written instructions and drawings.
Requirements
- 2-3 years of previous related field experience.
- Knowledge of various blasts.
- Knowledge of various painting methods and applications.
- Computer literacy, good organizational skills, able to meet aggressive timelines.
- Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work under pressure.
Responsibilities
- Mix paints to desired colors and consistencies.
- Prepare surfaces through but not limited to: grinding, sanding, polishing, caulking and sealing.
- Apply coatings through conventional, airless and plural spray systems.
- Apply paint with brush and roll.
- Operate various types of equipment such as blast pots and spray guns.
- Spray with consistent millage.
- Safely operates construction tools and equipment as needed.
