About The Position

The Industrial Painter is responsible for preparing, mixing, and applying paints to various surfaces using pressure pots and conventional spray methods. This role requires knowledge of metal finishing, attention to detail in paint thickness checks, and the ability to safely handle and store paint and supplies. The Painter will also assist with inventory management, ensuring that supplies are well stocked and available for production needs.

Responsibilities

• Understand and adhere to all operating and safety procedures within the paint department.
• Prepare and mix paints according to specifications, ensuring the correct color, texture, and consistency.
• Apply paint to surfaces using pressure pots and conventional spray methods, ensuring a smooth, even, and high-quality finish.
• Perform metal finishing tasks to ensure the surfaces are properly prepared for painting.
• Conduct regular inventory checks on paints, supplies, and materials, and requisition additional supplies as needed to avoid production delays.
• Accurately measure and check paint thickness to meet quality and industry standards.
• Provide assistance to other team members within the paint department as required, contributing to the smooth flow of operations.
