About The Position

Seeking a hands-on Industrial Painter & Material Handler to support daily shop production. Industrial painting accounts for approximately 20% of the role, with the remaining time focused on material handling, rigging, equipment operation, and general production tasks.

Requirements

• Experience with industrial or production painting and coating application.
• Experience operating overhead cranes, forklifts, or similar material-handling equipment.
• Knowledge of rigging, load handling, and safe loading/unloading practices.
• Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately.
• Ability to pass a respiratory fit test.
• Understanding of industrial safety procedures, PPE, and chemical handling.
• Strong organization, multitasking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, collaborate with a team, and perform varied production duties beyond painting.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces and apply industrial coatings using proper painting techniques.
• Operate overhead cranes and forklifts to move, load, unload, stage, and position materials.
• Perform rigging for materials and equipment.
• Use tape measures and other measuring tools accurately.
• Assist with production activities and tasks across different shop areas.
• Complete required respiratory fit testing and follow PPE, chemical-handling, and workplace safety procedures.
