About The Position

Heat Tech Industrial has immediate openings for EXPERIENCED painters / sandblasters. Painters will also work with a team on miscellaneous industrial construction projects. Work is generally weekdays, dependent on weather and time-sensitive jobs. Days consist of 10 hour work days, 5 days a week. Per Diem will be paid depending on eligibility. Travel to different cities, experience new things, great pay and benefits.

Requirements

EXPERIENCED painters / sandblasters
Industrial coating experience required. Painting / Blasting
Knowledge of painting material and how to select, mix and apply them
Aptitude in using appropriate tools
Conscientious with great attention to detail
Knowledge of OSHA safety requirements
Focus on safe work, strong work ethic, good attitude

Nice To Haves

Enjoy working outdoors
Experience with industrial paint projects

Responsibilities

Read data sheets and examine surfaces to determine the kind and amount of work necessary
Make on-site preparations such as building scaffolding, covering fixtures etc.
Prepare surfaces for painting
Take and adhere to all health and safety precautions
Safely operate power tools: blast pot, grinder, mobile equipment, airless and conventional
