About The Position
Fountain Tire (Squamish) is looking for a responsible, safe, and motivated associate to join our team as an Industrial/OTR Tire Technician! At Fountain Tire, our associates are our number one asset. This role involves a variety of tasks related to industrial and OTR tires, customer service, and ensuring safety on the job. The work can be unpredictable, physical, and exposed to various weather conditions. The ideal candidate will be up for the challenge, able to be on call after hours, and capable of lifting up to 100 pounds.
Requirements
- At least 1+ year of medium truck, commercial, and industrial tire experience
- A valid driver's license
- A satisfactory driver's abstract
- Ability to be on call after hours
- Must be able to lift up to 100 pounds if required
Responsibilities
- Inspecting, installing, balancing, rotating, and/or repairing truck, farm, industrial and/or OTR tires
- Greeting and communicating with customers on all aspects of repair, service, and tire sales
- Impressing customers with professional and friendly customer service
- Keeping yourself and coworkers safe on the job
