About The Position

Beringer Aero, a French aerospace company with nearly 40 years of expertise in high-performance aircraft wheels, brakes, and systems for general aviation, is entering its next phase with its US operation in Greenville, South Carolina. They are seeking an experienced industrial leader to help build and scale their industrial organization. The Industrial Operations Manager will report directly to the CEO and will have ownership over the US industrial organization's growth. This role involves working closely with French Engineering and Industrial teams to define strategy, establish processes, develop people, and implement systems for significant growth. The manager will lead Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing functions, starting with a team of approximately four and growing to 15-20 over five years, while also managing a supply chain of 50-100 vendors. This is a strategic role focused on building the architecture, structure, standards, and culture of the industrial organization, rather than direct production floor management.

Requirements

At least 10 years of experience in industrial and manufacturing operations, ideally in aviation
FAA regulatory familiarity required
Experience managing managers and cross-functional teams
Proven experience structuring or building an industrial operation, department, or new activity
Strong grasp of the full industrial chain: Engineering through Delivery
ERP/MRP implementation experience
Experience managing a multi-vendor supply chain
Comfort in a regulated quality environment
Project management and problem-solving skills
Degree in mechanical or production engineering preferred; strong experience can substitute

Responsibilities

Design and implement the industrial organization, processes, and management systems for the US operation
Lead, develop, and coach functional managers and team leaders across Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Purchasing
Partner with the French Engineering and Industrial teams to transfer know-how and best practices to the US
Drive the implementation of the ERP system and ensure full adoption
Manage a vendor network of 50-100 suppliers, building robust purchasing and supply chain processes
Establish KPIs, performance routines, and a continuous improvement culture
Anticipate future capacity, workforce, and infrastructure needs as production volumes grow
Support FAA regulatory compliance and represent the US industrial organization in audits and regulatory interactions
