About The Position

The Industrial Operations Intern supports daily operational activities and continuous improvement initiatives within a manufacturing, distribution, logistics, or production environment. This role provides hands-on experience in operations management, process optimization, data analysis, quality assurance, and project coordination while working closely with operations, engineering, and supply chain teams.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master’s degree in Industrial Engineering, operations management, supply chain management, manufacturing engineering, business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other productivity software.
Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and work in a fast-paced environment
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Nice To Haves

Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement principles.
Experience with data analysis, reporting, or visualization tools.
Familiarity with ERP systems and supply chain concepts.
Basic understanding of production, logistics, or warehouse operations.

Responsibilities

Assist in monitoring and improving operational processes and workflows.
Collect, analyze, and report operational performance data.
Support production planning, scheduling, and resource allocation activities.
Help identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvement opportunities.
Participate in continuous improvement projects focused on productivity, quality, safety, and cost reduction.
Assist with inventory tracking, materials management, and supply chain operations.
Prepare reports, presentations, and dashboards for operational metrics and KPIs.
Conduct process observations, audits, and documentation updates.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support operational goals and project execution.
Follow workplace safety procedures and company policies.
