About The Position
The Industrial Mechanic is responsible for ensuring quality service and installation for our customers and doing so by always promoting safety. Job sites will vary amongst our industrial customer locations throughout the service area.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Basic understanding of trade principles and concepts
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Good physical condition with the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to safety and following established protocols
Nice To Haves
- Vocational school or prior training
- Knowledge and experience in stainless steel pipe/tubing welding
- Fabrication of parts and materials experience
- Light rigging and millwright experience
Responsibilities
- Completing mechanical projects within a manufacturing/industrial setting
- Structural and pipe welding
- Stainless steel pipe/tubing welding
- Structural and pipe fitting
- Fabrication of parts and materials
- Light rigging and millwright work
- Using hands to control tools and materials
- Lifting up to 85 pounds
- Working from high locations from ladders, lifts, and/or scaffolding
- Working in cramped, awkward, and/or confined spaces while kneeling, bending, crouching, or stooping for prolonged periods of time
