About The Position

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join our night shift team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a night schedule from Monday to Thursday, 6:30 p.m. to 5:00 a.m.

Requirements

Strong experience in maintenance, repair, and adjustment of mechanical equipment such as conveyors, grinders, shredders, vibrating tables, hydraulic systems, and presses.
Ability to diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures, and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
Skilled in testing repaired equipment to ensure proper performance and compliance with standards.
Ability to collaborate on problem-solving to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
Knowledge of safety protocols, including workplace cleanliness, compliance with health & safety (SST) regulations, and safe work practices.

Responsibilities

Perform preventive maintenance, repairs, adjustments, alignments, and servicing of various equipment, including: Conveyor, Grinder, Shredder, Vibrating table, Hydraulic system, Press.
Diagnose mechanical issues, breakdowns, and failures.
Inspect for wear, repair, or replace defective parts, components, or systems.
Test repaired equipment to verify performance and ensure compliance.
Assist in troubleshooting to improve equipment efficiency and functionality.
Carry out installation and upgrades of new machines or equipment.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
