About The Position

This position involves performing maintenance on industrial equipment, requiring the ability to make simple calculations, read and understand technical documentation, and potentially perform advanced welding. The role emphasizes cooperation with colleagues and customers, maintaining open communication with management, and applying critical thinking for efficiency and safety. The work environment is primarily indoors at a service center, with potential for work at various sites requiring Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including respirators.

Requirements

Work experience in heavy construction or working with industrial equipment maintenance.
Ability to make simple calculations and read/understand drawings, work instructions, and other documentation.
Has achieved certifications of millwright standards and possess certifications in other standards.
Standing for long periods of time.
Climbing of stairs and/or ladders.
Frequent lifting and/or moving up to 50 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, depth perception and ability to focus.
Requires PPE, including special PPE such as respirators.

Nice To Haves

Able to perform more advanced welding techniques efficiently and with a consistent level of quality.
Intermediate knowledge of welding and metallurgy and basic theory of welding and correct application of welding.
Millwright certification such as NCCER or other nationally recognized program.
