They offer a comprehensive, employer-paid benefits package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and 401(k). They are seeking a skilled and experienced Industrial Mechanic to join their team. This is a specialized, technical role responsible for diagnosing, adjusting, repairing, and overhauling mobile mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment — including winches, diesel and electric hydraulic power units, spoolers, cranes, and forklifts. This position plays a critical role in maintaining operational excellence for both rental and customer-owned equipment, while also serving as a technical resource for customers and internal team members.

Requirements

  • Specialized experience in spec-intensive, heavy lifting equipment — this role requires expertise beyond standard large truck or heavy construction vehicle mechanics.
  • Proven experience engineering and fabricating heavy lifting equipment across the full spectrum from power to gearing to controls.
  • Highly developed customer service skills with some supervisory experience.
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds regularly, and up to 80 pounds occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods, operate foot pedals, use hands for detailed mechanical work, and perform physical tasks including stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing, and crawling as needed.
  • Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities

  • Repair and replace damaged or worn parts on heavy mechanical equipment.
  • Test mechanical products and equipment after repair or assembly to ensure proper performance and compliance with manufacturer specifications.

  • Overhaul and test machines or equipment to ensure operating efficiency.
  • Repair, rewire, and troubleshoot electrical systems.
  • Diagnose faults or malfunctions using engine diagnostic equipment, including computerized test equipment and calibration devices.
  • Weld or solder broken parts and structural members using electric or gas welders and soldering tools.
  • Adjust, maintain, and repair or replace subassemblies such as transmissions, hydraulic system components, and fuel systems using hand tools, jacks, cranes, and power tools.
