About The Position

E.L. Harvey & Sons has an opening for an Industrial Mechanic to join their team in Westborough, MA. The focus of this role is on the overall health and maintenance of the plant and all supporting machine centers. This will involve inspections, diagnosing, and issuing repairs to mechanical, electrical, hydraulics, grinders, shredders, and conveyor systems.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of proven experience in the field as an industrial or diesel mechanic.
• Proficiency in a variety of diagnostic tools, preventative maintenance and repair.
• Basic tool set

Nice To Haves

• Hydraulic experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Perform minor to major repairs/PM maintenance.
• Performs inspections, diagnosis, and repair of powertrain, electrical and hydraulic systems on heavy equipment, such as excavators, wheel loaders, forklifts, man-lifts, etc.
• Perform service calls for plant issues and breakdowns.
• Maintain a safe, clean environment in compliance with corporate and OSHA standards.
