Industrial Mechanic Technician (Maintenance)
About The Position
Pall Corporation, a Danaher operating company and a global leader in high-tech filtration, separation, and purification, is seeking an Industrial Mechanic Technician to join their Maintenance Team in Timonium, MD. This on-site role is crucial for assembling machinery to enhance manufacturing operations and reliability. The technician will ensure the optimal performance of automated and semi-automated machinery in a continuous production environment, adhering to Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards. This position involves collaboration with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement machine improvements. The role is part of the Maintenance Team and reports to the Maintenance Manager.
Requirements
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 5+ years of related maintenance experience.
- Mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals, technical documents, blueprints, work instructions and troubleshooting guides.
- The ability to work and communicate in a collaborative team environment.
Nice To Haves
- Previous experience in hazardous waste handling and electrical work.
- Previous experience in injection molding and melt-blown processes.
Responsibilities
- Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair to ensure optimal machine performance (Includes mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.)
- Set up, calibrate, and test components and mechanical assemblies using various tools.
- Execute maintenance work orders and accurately document activities in the CMMS system.
- Collaborate daily with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations teams, and contractors to safely achieve production goals.
