About The Position

The Industrial Mechanic Technician assembles machinery to enhance manufacturing operations and reliability. The role ensures the reliability and performance of automated and semi-automated machinery in a continuous production environment while upholding Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards. The technician collaborates with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement machine improvements. The position reports to the Maintenance Manager and is part of the Maintenance Team in Timonium, Maryland. It is an on-site role. The schedule is D-Shift: Thursday PM through Sunday AM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM (three 12-hour shifts), plus every other Wednesday PM through Thursday AM, 7:00 PM–7:00 AM.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
At least 5 years of related maintenance experience.
Mechanical aptitude and ability to read manuals, technical documents, blueprints, and troubleshooting guides.
Ability to work and communicate in a collaborative team environment.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. intermittently and stand at machines for the entire shift, including reaching, bending, squatting, and kneeling.

Nice To Haves

Experience with hazardous waste handling and electrical work.
Experience with injection molding and melt-blown processes.

Responsibilities

Conduct predictive and preventive maintenance, troubleshoot, and repair machinery to ensure optimal performance, including mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and electrical systems.
Set up, calibrate, and test components and mechanical assemblies using various tools.
Collaborate daily with Maintenance, Facilities, Operations teams, and contractors to achieve production goals.
Uphold Environmental Health, Safety (EHS), and Quality standards.
Work with Production and Engineering to troubleshoot issues, identify root causes, and implement machine improvements.
