About The Position
Performs mechanic and hydraulic inspections, diagnosis and corrective actions autonomously, in a safe and efficient manner according to applicable procedures and best practices, complying with defined quality standards. Schedule Will work on a rotating shift.
Responsibilities
- Inspects, diagnoses and performs mechanic and hydraulic repairs and replacements autonomously.
- Follows up repairs ensuring the performed work effectiveness.
- Makes failure analysis, establishing the problems' root causes and taking actions to avoid repetitions.
- Performs mechanic and hydraulic activities such as equipment alignments, valves settings and maintenance or 5 senses' inspections.
- Disassembles and assembles mechanical components.
- Executes maintenance plans.
- Interprets technical drawing.
- Carries out equipment oiling and centralized lubrication control.
- Operates welding equipment under supervision.
- Executes machine lock outs and tag outs.
- Verifies the correct functioning of tools, instruments and accessories checking they fulfill with specifications.
- Carries out forklift or radio control overhead crane operation when applicable.
- Updates information in the maintenance systems and performs maintenance reports.
