About The Position

We are looking for a Maintenance Mechanic that can start working right away. This role will assist in the repair, upkeep, and maintenance of APP’s machinery, plumbing, electrical wiring, and facilities. The ideal candidate will work safely and maintain an organized, lean work environment, with a strong commitment to good attendance and punctuality, which is critical to meeting production needs.

Requirements

1-3 years’ experience repairing and/or maintaining hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical industrial equipment or related industrial machinery.
Ability to conceptualize, fabricate, and develop necessary equipment, and intricate systems.
Wear proper Personal Protection Equipment in work area at all time.
Ability to operate in a drug-free workplace.
English (reading, writing, and verbal comprehension).
Must be able to work overtime when required to meet operational deadlines.
Intermediate to Advanced Computer Skills/Mathematics.

Nice To Haves

Experience in PLUMBING, ELECTRICAL, MECHANICAL REPAIR & TROUBLESHOOTING.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electrical, industrial hydraulic, and pneumatic problems on industrial equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance as specified under supervision.
Examine, adjust, repair, and maintain machines/equipment.
Effectively communicate with co-workers.
Perform any other duties not mentioned above when instructed to do so by the department manager.
